ABOUT>
Wendy Lynn Adams - in her own words.
Wendy Lynn Adams was raised in a large family with 10 children: tons of cousins, aunts, uncles, with other relatives and friends. This gave her plenty of exposure to developing relations and being with other people. Her dad was a pastor so she, at a young age, was placed before crowds of people singing and speaking. The entertainment industry discovered Wendy Lynn as a young girl, subsequently placing her on TV singing and entertaining people. From this she had three of her own TV shows, and traveled with her own band throughout the United States and the world entertaining and ministering. She has always had deep concern for the hurting people. She has been feeding and ministering to the poor and homeless for over 30 years, by helping them to get jobs and homes. She is currently starting a home for unwed mothers. Hurting people from around the world call on her for prayer and support because they have seen the results of her prayer. She is known for her faith and trust in God’s ability to do miracles.
Throughout her life she has become very close friends with many of the entertainment stars and is called upon to be at their events. Even Elvis Presley had her stay at his homes or with his relatives when she was in the areas. She has written hundreds of songs, some which have hit the top of the charts. Her songs have been sung by entertainment giants such as Dolly Parton, Tanya Tucker, Ricky Van Sheldon, Donna Fargo etc. She was inducted into the Celebrity Hall of Fame in 1998.
Wendy is in demand all over the nation for her country-western singing and her impersonations of Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn. Numerous times she has been an entertainer and a judge at the Elvis week in Memphis. As an actress she has been on dozens of TV shows and top movies. She has recently produced three new CDs which include country and gospel songs that she is known for along with several of the songs she has recently written.
